Lithology and Thickness

Members: 1. Nalut (or Garian) dolomite, composed of hard, crystalline dolomitic limestone with bands of chert concretions 2. Yifran marl, which soft, thinly bedded marly limestones and claystones and intercalations of bedded gypsum, deposited in lagoonal to low-energy neritic and 3. Ain (Ayn) Tobi limestone, which is gray and yellow limestones and dolomites with thin marly interbeds.
